Okibitsuhiko no Mikoto
A short history
The main and worship halls were rebuilt in 1425 and are National Treasures. The shrine tells traditions about Okibitsuhiko and the ogre Ura associated with Momotaro; these are legends rather than a confirmed account of historical events.
Before you go
The July 2026 announcement makes formal prayers reservation-only; this does not mean ordinary worship requires a booking. Check the Narukama ritual separately rather than assuming it is included in a casual visit.
