A shrine near Akihabara with three enshrined kami and traditions of prayers for relationships, business and protection. Its vermilion buildings offer a focused cultural stop between city sightseeing visits.
Onamuchi no Mikoto (Daikoku / Okuninushi) · Sukunahikona no Mikoto (Ebisu) · Taira no Masakado no Mikoto
A short history
Shrine tradition dates its founding at Otemachi to 730. It moved to the present site in 1616; the current reinforced-concrete main building was completed in 1934.
Before you go
The official deity guide associates Onamuchi (also called Okuninushi) with relationships, Sukunahikona with business prosperity, and Taira no Masakado with protection. These are worship traditions, not guaranteed outcomes. Counter hours are not grounds hours; recheck the dated amulet notice for visits after December 2026 and confirm goshuin reception separately.
