Nagano now includes Suwa Taisha’s Kamisha Hongu and Togakushi Chusha. These are separate travel bases: one is in the Suwa area and the other in the mountains above Nagano City. Neither short visit estimate covers a complete four- or five-shrine circuit.

Getting there
Chino tourism lists about 45 minutes on foot from JR Chino Station. Check local transport or a taxi separately if that walk does not suit your itinerary; the shrine visit allowance excludes station travel.

Getting there
Start from Nagano Station and check the current bus service for Togakushi Chusha. The official access guide distinguishes Chusha from the approximately 2 km walking approach to Okusha. Winter transport and parking differ.
