Our first Kagawa entry is Kotohira-gu. Compare its uphill walking commitment before choosing it: the main shrine is at step 785, while the inner shrine is at step 1,368 and needs a longer visit. Station approaches, museum visits and meals are separate from the main-shrine round-trip allowance.
